If you are going on holiday and are concerned about carrying cash, you need the Advantage Cash Passport which has all the convenience of plastic and the security of travellers cheques.
 What is it?
The Advantage Cash Passport is a prepaid currency card, which is free to purchase, and is loaded with euros, US dollars or sterling in the UK before you travel. It can be used for your purchases, in place of a debit or credit card, at over 18 million Visa Electron merchants and over one million Visa ATMs worldwide.
The card can be reloaded with cash online, over the phone or by returning to the travel agency branch where you originally purchased your card.
What are the benefits of using a prepaid card if you already have a credit or debit card?
The Advantage Cash Passport is PIN and Signature protected and there is no access to your bank account or personal details, and as with travellers cheques your money is safe and will be replaced if the card is lost or stolen.
Other benefits include the fact that the preloaded cash is not subjected to overseas bank charges levied on purchases, unlike instances in which debit or credit cards are used overseas.
The card also offers free Emergency Travel Assistance** enabling you to obtain emergency cash and practical assistance for lost or stolen wallets and passports, medical emergencies, legal problems, interpretation service and an emergency messaging service to send a message home.
